Tranquil and remote, this luxury lodge is set within a private reserve with breathtaking views across Chilean Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park.
Days at Awasi Patagonia are spent exploring in and around the Torres del Paine National Park, renowned for its stunning scenery, from lenga forests to snow-capped mountains, icy rivers and glacial lakes.
Guests sleep in beautiful private villas, of which there are only 14, ensuring that the Awasi experience remains intimate and personalised.
The villas are ultra-comfortable ‘homes’ in the wilderness; simple and chic, built consciously to protect and respect the natural landscape that it’s a part of, styled on traditional Patagonian outposts with beautiful wooden interiors, large picture windows to maximise on views, outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lago Sarmiento and wood-burning fireplaces to make them incredibly warm and cosy.
Each villa comes with a private local guide and 4WD vehicle to explore at your own pace and to tailor each excursion to your own interests.
This is a wonderful setting to feel at one with nature, discovering Patagonia's wild and rugged beauty on outdoor adventures, such as hiking, biking and kayaking, with a chance of spotting Andean Condors, eagles, guanacos and pumas (puma tracking excursions can be arranged).
It is a real treat returning to the lodge to enjoy the comfort of the villas and fabulous cuisine at Awasi's Relais&Chateaux restaurant. Much of the food at Awasi is prepared from local seasonal ingredients, grown in the kitchen garden, and guests will enjoy gourmet picnic lunches out in the most breathtaking landscapes.
Guides at Awasi are passionate about these lands; exploring them and protecting them, and sharing their unspoilt beauty with every guest. Awasi pioneers conservation projects in the region, aiming to protect its natural and cultural heritage through conserving local ecosystems and reintroducing native species. The Awasi Foundation is directly supported by every guest’s stay, and the Awasi properties (including Awasi Patagonia's sister properties in Iguazu and the Atacama Desert) are Carbon Neutral.

Every time I explore a new destination, whether it’s on an adventure holiday in Peru or a luxury beach escape in the Indian Ocean, I return home full of excitement to share the amazing sights I have seen. Through my own experiences I have developed a love of helping others experience the great wonders of the world; truly getting under the skin of the extraordinary destinations that are at your fingertips. Getting the details right, from which hotel is perfectly located for exploring away from the crowds, to which local guide is most knowledgeable on history or culture or art, is of paramount importance to me. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting experiences and exploring off the beaten track to ensure my clients are receiving the best and most honest first-hand advice.
