The island, positioned between a reef and a lagoon, epitomises natural beauty and serenity, with a lush interior thick with palm trees. Known as the Vanilla Island with beans growing in abundance, visitors can explore vanilla plantations, as well as rhum distilleries and pearl farms, and can explore tropical valleys by ATV or 4x4.

The natural surroundings are stunning, particularly at sunrise and sunset when the colours are simply magical, and there are many ways to make the most of them. Take a paddleboard off shore to enjoy the island's breathtaking scenery from a different perspective, grab a snorkel and mask to spot colourful shoals of fish in the lagoon, head out on a fishing expedition with a local guide, or journey upstream through the jungle by kayak.
