Rosewood Bermuda is a luxury beach resort, perfectly located for enjoying an island escape. The beautiful hotel offers stunning rooms, suites and 2-3-bedroom Residences, as well as a glorious spa, four swimming pools, seven restaurants and bars, and access to the beautiful Tucker’s Point Beach Club and golf course.
Bermuda is known as the Jewel of the Atlantic and I couldn't recommend it more highly for an idyllic beach holiday where there's plenty to do to keep everyone entertained. The island is celebrated for its stunning coastline, over 34 beaches, pink sands, and a fascinating colonial history and island heritage to discover.
Spend your days enjoying different beaches, hiking the lush hills of the island's interior, visiting famous sites such as St. George, the former Bermudian capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the magnificent Botanical Gardens, galleries and shops. The Crystal Caves are particularly spectacular – an underground cave system full of extraordinary stalagmites and stalactites.
Tucker’s Point Beach Club is set on the largest private beach on the island, with two simming pools, a beautiful dining area with a shaded pergola and gorgeous terrace with a panormaic ocean view, sun loungers that are served by beach attendants who help with any request, and a brilliant watersports offerings. For golfers, Tucker’s Point Club is worth enjoying – it’s a challenging course with an amazing position that overlooks the ocean.
At the Beach Club, cool off in the infinity Horizon Pool, which is for 13 years +. The Fountain Pool is perfect for children to play in.
Rosewood Bermuda has curated special experience whether you're keen to relax, keep active at the resort, explore the island or enjoy life out on the water. There are four swimming pools with beautiful views and poolside service, a fitness centre, incredible spa, Yoga and Tai Chi on the lawn, tennis courts, watersports such as windsurfing, diving, sea kayaking and deep sea fishing. The waters around the island provide breathtaking coral reefs, shipwrecks, and cave to dive in. The resort organises complimentary equipment, snorkel tours and jet-ski safaris along the shore. For young families, there are wonderful entertainment programs for children to enjoy, such as Rosewood Explorers.
Sense, A Rosewood Spa, is the island’s finest wellness space with a menu of restorative therapies and wellness rituals to choose from, many of which are inspired by traditional island healing methods, and use ingredients from the botanical gardens. The Spa has a beautiful reflecting pool lined with day beds, which is a gorgeous place to relax, and you can get anything from a manicure to a full body scrub.
I love the elegant style of the 92 guestrooms and suites. There are also larger 2/3 bedroom residences, which offer access to a private pool and Owner’s Club house and beach.
The Rooms and Suites are spacious and comfortable, with tasteful decor, luxury amenities, walk-in closets, custom furniture, and ensuite bathrooms that have deep soaking tubs. Some have expansive balconies to make the most of the gorgeous ocean views, and others have fireplaces, or studies for those travelling on business.
Rosewood Bermuda has partnered with local farms and fishermen to showcase locally grown and sustainable ingredients at its seven restaurants and bars, where there's a wide choice of local and international fare. I would recommend indulging in one of the hotel's 'epicurean encounters': a gourmet safari, which is a gastronomic journey involving authentic local cuisine and island flavours. Start with rum tasting and a guided walk in the coffee chine, followed by a five-course Chef’s degustation dinner in a beautiful setting, paired with specially chosen wine by the Sommelier. We can arrange special private dinners, with the beach as your dining room and the constellations as your entertainment, arriving in time for sunset cocktails, enjoying the sounds of the ocean and keeping warm with a fire, then stargazing after a tasting menu paired with delicious wine.
Sul Verde, overlooking the golf course at Tucker’s Point Golf Club, offers al fresco dining and a taste of Southern Italy. The Beach Club Restaurant serves a mouth-watering marketplace-style selection of fresh seafood from the most stunning oceanfront setting. The atmosphere is relaxed and celebratory, with a real Beach House vibe. Island Brasserie is a warm and welcoming classic steakhouse, also serving locally caught seafood, with smart colonial-style interiors, wood finishes and antique brass, with a nod to the island's maritime trade heritage. In the evenings, sit out on the around the fire to enjoy the views over Harrington Sound. For a classic rum cocktail, there's nowhere better than Tucker’s Bar, which overlooks the Palm Court Pool.
The heart of Rosewood Bermuda is the Conservatory Bar & Lounge, where guests gather and mingle over morning coffee, afternoon tea or sunset cocktails, and the atmosphere is always fun and lively.
Every time I explore a new destination, whether it’s on an adventure holiday in Peru or a luxury beach escape in the Indian Ocean, I return home full of excitement to share the amazing sights I have seen. Through my own experiences I have developed a love of helping others experience the great wonders of the world; truly getting under the skin of the extraordinary destinations that are at your fingertips.
