Hotel Daniel is a boutique hotel in Paris with a romantic atmosphere and wonderful service, well located for exploring by foot, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (excellent shopping, sight-seeing and a number of top galleries and museums). As a Relais & Chateaux property, guests can expect spectacular cuisine and personable hospitality.

The Daniel feels like a private townhouse with just 26 rooms and colourful and exotic interiors giving it unique character. The Daniel provides all the benefits of a stylish pied-a-terre for guests looking to remain under-the-radar.

An Oriental influence on the interiors complements the more traditional 18thC décor, including intricately hand-painted floral wallpaper, paintings of Chinese nobility and scenery, Asian dressing dividers and orchid displays. Each bedroom is complete with bookshelves, reading lamps, squashy sofas and balconies on the 2nd and 5th floors. Rooms range from snug single rooms with antique writing desks, court views and marble bathrooms, to suites with unique pieces of furniture collected from around the world, king beds and spacious sitting areas.

Breakfast in bed is a personal favourite at The Daniel, as a delicious array of pastries is wheeled straight to your bed on a white linen trolley, along with strong coffee and a copy of Le Monde, in true Parisian style. Every quartier of Paris, the capital of one of the world’s major gastronomic territories, is home to any number of patisseries, cafes, brasseries and fine-dining restaurants, and we can make recommendations and reservations at some of the city’s most exciting tables (as can the hotel’s superb 24/7 concierge). The hotel offers a delicious weekend brunch, daily afternoon tea and has a well-regarded fine-dining restaurant, Le Daniel, which is open exclusively for hotel guests. This is a great option on your first evening if you’re a little tired from travelling but still want to indulge in a sophisticated menu and fine French wines.

The Daniel doesn’t have its own spa, but guests benefit from its connection with nearby L’Espace Payot, enjoying discounted treatments and use of a lovely swimming pool.

Every time I explore a new destination, whether it’s on an adventure holiday in Peru or a luxury beach escape in the Indian Ocean, I return home full of excitement to share the amazing sights I have seen. Through my own experiences I have developed a love of helping others experience the great wonders of the world; truly getting under the skin of the extraordinary destinations that are at your fingertips. Getting the details right, from which hotel is perfectly located for exploring away from the crowds, to which local guide is most knowledgeable on history or culture or art, is of paramount importance to me. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting experiences and exploring off the beaten track to ensure my clients are receiving the best and most honest first-hand advice.
